Twilight In the Red Box

Sit back and watch the sun set over the Brisbane river and cityscape while listening to the music of classical greats in this intimate concert series. Join us for a series of intimate twilight concerts showcasing brand new classical music from renowned Australian and international composers, and performances by some of Australia’s finest musicians and rising stars.

Internationally renowned classical music export the Tinalley String Quartet will perform masterpieces from their repertoire in the opening concert of the series on 7 July. Acclaimed for their addictive sound and intuitive music making, these virtuosic musicians have enraptured audiences across the globe.

On Sunday 14 & 21 July, concert programs curated by University of Queensland Cello Performance Fellow, Patrick Murphy, will feature instrumental and vocal performances from students of the University of Queensland’s School of Music and take audiences on a transportive musical journey spanning seven centuries.
