Unsung – Amelia Ryan & Libby O'Donovan

In celebration of a defiant act that changed a nation, Amelia Ryan and Libby O’Donovan join forces to tell the story of our female singers of the 1960s.

An uplifting, raucous and nostalgic musical soundtrack inspired by a summer’s day in 1965 when two women walked into the Regatta Hotel, calmly chained themselves to the public bar, and asked for a beer. The act inspired future generations of Australian female pop and rock icons.

'Unsung' tells the story of what it took for our female singers of this time to be heard and recognised. With an uplifting, raucous and nostalgic musical soundtrack, it pays homage to the women who blazed the trails for future generations of Australian female pop and rock icons.
