Unwinded presents a night of '60s garage rock and surf.

Showtime 8:30pm

Department
Equipped with their everlasting DIY attitude and hanging out somewhere in between ‘Mission Burma’ and ‘The Clean’, Melbourne locals department are quasi-garage rock feel good hit generators. Department released their debut album in April 2017 and have played more shows than a touring band of gypsy’s with acts such as Amyl and the Sniffers, The Pinheads, Pist Idiots and Mesa Cosa as well as doing a co-headline tour with Dumb Punts.

The Vacant Smiles
The Vacant Smiles are a Melbourne band who have been floating around the local scene with their blend of garage rock and surf-tinged psychedelia for about seven years. In 2013, they released their first album Stupid Music, followed by You’re Not Really Here in early 2016, which led to some guy texting triple j and describing the sound as “King Gizzard meets B52s”, which they were pretty happy about it. Late last year they released their third album Goodwill, a collection of raw, wonky and at times openly chaotic garage-rock that was written, recorded and released in just over a month, but has turned out to be potentially their best album yet.
