Brisbane is being invited to celebrate this Valentine’s Day with a Break Up.

The Queensland Health activation will be at Reddacliff Place (top of Queen St mall) in Brisbane this Valentine’s Day encouraging people to make a pledge and Break Up with an unhealthy habit.

Whether it’s excessive deep-fried food or sweet drinks, or simply too much time in front of the screen, Valentine’s Day is proving the perfect time to show yourself some love and break up with an unhealthy relationship.

Join radio personality Matty Acton and Queensland Health from 8am to pledge a break up on the Pledge Wall and be in the running to win a tandem bike or a dinner voucher for two valued at $300. There will be healthy giveaways for everyone such as fresh apples, healthy popcorn, nuts or tea.

The event hopes to encourage Queenslanders to reflect on their own unhealthy habits and consider ending just one. It will be a small, manageable change to feel good about. Small changes can add up to a big change and we want Queenslanders to see how good they can feel both physically and emotionally.
