Bundaberg will travel back in time when 100 cars and motorcycles from the early 1900s illuminate Bourbong Street with the glow of their gas and kerosene lamps.
Some of the world’s rarest and oldest vehicles come to Bundaberg from all over Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Watch the shiny brass and Edwardian costumes passing by as the procession cruises up and down Bourbong street in the CBD. The Gas Light Parade is part of the 2019 National Veteran Vehicle Rally, one of the world’s largest Veteran Vehicle events. The cars can be seen from 6pm onward with the parade starting at 6:30pm.
Motorists are advised that there will be road closures for the Gas Light Parade. Traffic control measures will be in place and appropriate signage will be displayed while the road is closed.
