Join Gunditjmara Artist & Master Weaver Bronwyn Razem for a morning of sharing family stories of their cultural tradition of weaving. Learn how to create a Bush Animal with real personality, by sculpturing hay with wool. This art form, inspired by the Tjanpi Desert Weavers, is her favourite!

- This two hour workshop will take place at Blak Dot Gallery, commencing at 10.30am
- All materials, plus tea & coffee provided
- Spaces are limited to 15 participants
- Following the workshop, participants can stay on to hear the gallery's current exhibition artist talks at 1pm

Bronwyn was born in Gunditjmara Country, Warrnambool and comes from a long lineage of Traditional Weavers. Bronwyn learned from her grandmother Georgina and mother Zelda Couzens. She has played a vital role in the revival of the Traditional eel trap.

Through her work, Bronwyn acknowledges the importance of maintaining the cultural knowledge behind the weaving and the role this played in times past. Teaching traditional weaving techniques asserts the strength of this cultural practice that was utilised for everyday life.
