Sydney based contemporary artist, Christeene Britton, presents 'What's Not to Love' at the historical Balmain Watch House, Darling Street, Balmain. This collection comprises Christeene's very structured geometric acrylic works complimented by her fun & frivolous ink & watercolour pieces. This collection is as diverse in colour, texture and subject as her chosen mediums permit. Christeene's large acrylic statement art works are highly textural highlighting the use of colour & movement contrasting with her ink & watercolour pieces which are fluid unrestricted &, at times, quirky.

Christeene has established herself with very strong identifiable signature style which has broad appeal. For first time visitors, the historic Balmain Watch House is a sandstone two storey terrace which was once the local 'lock up. Art on display with be distributed throughout the terrace making good use of what were the original lockup cells. Visitors will have the opportunity to not only view a great collection of works but stand within the confines of this amazing structure.

On display also will be a collection of hand crocheted jewellery super light to wear embellished with a variety of pearls, semi precious stones & crystals.

An exhibition that will surprise—not to be missed.
