The Unified Power of Women's Music.

Nothing unites humankind like the power of music. National Reconciliation Week 2019 is honoured through song, storytelling and conversation. Four of the city's finest singer/songwriters stand side-by-side to explore what reconciliation means to Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people and how we can work together to achieve it.

Barkindji woman Nancy Bates, Bidjara woman Jessica Wishart (a rising country, folk and soul star), Lebanese Australian Emily Davis and European descendant and folk artist Tara Carragher have the power to inspire change.

This a special performance of exquisite music by Aboriginal women and women in the music industry who stand by them. A traditional Kaurna Smoking Ceremony will commence prior to the performance at 6:30pm. Event details to be advised.

Originally presented by Nexus Arts for Reconciliation Week 2018.
