2040 is an innovative feature documentary that looks to the future; but is vitally important now! Director Damon Gameau (That Sugar Film) embarks on a journey to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them rapidly into the mainstream.

2040 demonstrates that we already have the solutions to climate change; we just need to take action to bring them rapidly into the mainstream. Come along for a family evening to watch the film and learn about the positive solutions to climate change that we can embrace now.

Pachamama pop-up will be serving tacos, nachos and more. The SLSC bar will be serving drinks from 6 to 7pm.

Bring along a picnic or enjoy the goodies available for purchase.

For this event we are accepting cash only at the door. Visit Bouddi Eco Network on Facebook and register to attend.

The cost to run this event is $430 (for the community screening license which goes to the film makers, and for the hire of the Killcare SLSC). Any profits over and above these costs will be donated to the Bouddi Wildlife Fund. The Bouddi Wildlife Fund provides resources for local registered wildlife carers to care for our injured or sick local wildlife.

Bouddi Eco Network is building a regenerative community that meets the needs of it's members in harmony with living systems and our home planet. Adaptation, local skills, permaculture, friendships and fun!
