May is national cystic fibrosis (CF) awareness month and 65 Roses Day is on Friday 22 May, but whilst things will certainly be different this year, people can still really make a difference.

The biggest change to the campaign is that it will be going digital! Due to COVID-19 there won’t be a sea of roses being wrapped by hundreds of volunteers to be sold on the streets of WA, however Cystic Fibrosis WA (CFWA) has launched a fabulous new digital initiative in order to save what is, easily, their largest annual fundraiser.

In 2020, CFWA is asking everyone to buy a digital rose (and get their friends to as well) to raise funds for around 400 people in WA living with cystic fibrosis – around half of which are children.

How: Purchase a digital rose from the CFWA Rose Garden website and it will be sent via email, it will also appear in the CFWA virtual rose garden.

Not only will donations go towards the latest research to find a cure, it will help provide vital support services and critical research funding for people with CF; all the more important during this difficult time.
