Seafarers and landlubbers alike are invited to celebrate Victoria’s freshest marine produce with 2020’s return of the Apollo Bay Seafood Festival on 14–16 February. Taking over the picturesque Apollo Bay Harbour, food and travel lovers will be able to feast on pescatarian treats, surrounded by the stunning sea view backdrop of the Great Ocean Road region.

On 14 February, festivities will kick off on Friday night with the Submerged Gala Dinner hosted by Peruvian chef Alejandro Saravia (Pastuso, Farmer’s Daughters). The festival’s main event Harbour Day will take place on Saturday 15 February with an ‘off the boat’ seafood market where guests will be able to purchase fresh seafood tucker straight from the fishermen who caught it.

Two Conversations sessions will be held on Sunday 16 February, where a range of speakers including fishermen, farmers, chefs and Indigenous knowledge keepers will lead insightful discussions around sustainability in the fishing industry.
