Australian Wildlife Conservancy is the largest private (non-profit) owner and manager of land for conservation in the world, protecting endangered wildlife across more than 6.5 million hectares in iconic places such as the Kimberley, Cape York, Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre and the Top End.

As we continue to adjust to a new world of self-isolation and social distancing, we am excited to launch this new initiative to connect you directly with our sanctuaries and help you keep up-to-date with our team in the field.

Each Thursday, we’ll be bringing you a series of live conversations with members of the AWC family, zooming in to your screen from the remotest parts of Australia. We’ll discuss what effective conservation looks like on the ground and explore one of AWC’s conservation projects in-depth.

Despite the challenges that 2020 has thrown at us, much of AWC’s field program is still able to proceed. Real-world visits to our spectacular sanctuaries may have to wait, but, in the meantime, we hope you’ll join us for a ‘virtual’ visit (the catering arrangement is B.Y.O. cuppa this time). You will also have the opportunity to ask AWC’s best and brightest your questions.
