Bringing Up Great Kids – Five-Week Course

'Bringing Up Great Kids' is for parents who want to understand and enhance their relationships with their children. The course uses mindfulness and reflection to help you enhance how you interact with your children and encourage their positive self-identity. Over five weeks, you will also have the opportunity to develop and practice strategies to manage your parenting approach.

This five week course supports participants to:
- learn more about the origins of your parenting style ;
- develop attentive communication skills;
- understand the underlying messages in your child’s behaviour;
- understand the meaning of the messages you give to your child;
- discover how to overcome some of the obstacles getting in the way of you being the kind of parent you would like to be;
- learn about the importance of building self-esteem in children;
- discover ways to take care of yourself and to find support when you need it.

Bringing Up Great Kids is a reflective parenting program developed by the Australian Childhood Foundation.
