If you play recorder or other woodwind instruments, we have a three day workshop for you. Sorry, no total beginners. With fabulous tutors, and other students from around Australia and overseas, you'll explore repertoire from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Standards catered for go from intermediate to advanced. You do need to be able to read music fluently. Tuition will be on recorder, but other instruments will join in to explore and enjoy the repertoire and history. There will also be daily concerts.

If you're interested, please go to the website and thoroughly read through the winds page, self-rating guide and terms and conditions before clicking on the links to take you to Qtix. Please use the links from the website rather than go straight to Qtix. Full registration with class choices will occur after payment is received. The event will be catered by Indie Treats.

This event is run by the Early Music Society of Queensland Inc. If you enjoy music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque eras and playing on original instruments, please join EMSQ. There are many benefits, including a discount for financial members to the Winds workshop.
