Build Your Own Sewing Kit - Learn to Hand Sew

Every visible mending pro started somewhere. In this workshop we'll teach you how to start your journey with some key hand sewing basics.

Suitable for ages 10 to 14 years.

You don’t have to be a seasoned hand sewer to attend our workshop. We’ll teach you basic techniques to confidently transform your over-loved pieces into a refreshed look or add a tailored visible mending touch.

Our facilitator, Anne, is an experienced sewer so even if you’ve hand sewn before, Anne can help you experiment with ideas and techniques for you to creatively change up something old into something refreshed.

We’ll provide you with all the sewing tools, threads and an array of decorative items plus fabric remnants.
