Chinese Lantern Festival—free fun for the whole family!
This year, the Australia China Friendship Society will hold the annual Lantern Festival. There will be performances of Chinese music, dancing, martial arts. and a Lantern Parade along the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.
Bring a picnic and enjoy a family evening by the Lake (only water and snacks can be bought at the site). Lanterns will be available for purchase. In case of rain or thick haze the Festival will be cancelled—please check our website on the day.
