In an annual Christmas tradition, City of Armadale invites you to join in the festive spirit of the holiday season with Carols by Candlelight. This family friendly Christmas event is bursting with community pride and celebration as it showcases some of the incredible talent from the Armadale area.

As a COVIDsafe event, it will still be free but you will need tickets in order to enter.

Gates open from 5.30pm.

The event will also be livestreamed so if you'd prefer to stay home, why not put on a viewing party and get involved from your couch! armadale.wa.gov.au

Collect your songbooks and LED candles with a gold coin donation, and join in the musical spectacular with performances by Armadale Primary School, Clifton Hills Primary School, John Wollaston Anglican Community School, Willandra Primary School, Roleystone Theatre Christmas Choir, and some special guests, supported with live music provided by the multi-award winning Armadale City Concert Band.

We welcome people of all ages and all abilities to our events. This year we are pleased to provide the DADAA Accessible Media Space, a fenced viewing area reserved for people with disability. To enjoy the Carols we will have audio description, assistive listening, AUSLAN interpreters and braille songbooks. Please note that bookings for the media space are essential and must be made through DADAA (email jacqueline@dadaa.org.au), and braille songbooks must be ordered by Friday 27 November through the City of Armadale.

Also home to the annual The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal, we encourage you to bring non-perishable food items and groceries for those in need in your community.

This is a family friendly, smoke and alcohol free event. For more information visit the Facebook event on the City of Armadale Facebook page. General Admission tickets are available online from www.perthhillsarmadale.com.au, over the phone on 9394 5410, or in person at the Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre.

Come share in the Christmas joy!
