Traditional square dancing is easy, fun, sociable, community dancing and a good workout.

Contra dancing is social interaction, meeting friendly people, set to music.

It’s a rapidly evolving tradition from the USA. Done with a simple walking step, it features dances made up of flowing movements, swings, a chance to dance with everyone and the opportunity for
improvisation. Beware - contra is addictive!
