Ensemble Q Series Concert 2 – When the World Was at War: CANCELLED

Five composers whose lives were destroyed by war are brought together in this moving tribute to the beauty of their compositions at a time of complete chaos and pain. Contrary to obvious conclusion, this is a program of poignance and hope rather than pain, and shows the human spirit at its very best. Joining us is the phenomenal German Canadian violinist Annette-Barbara Vogel.

Kaminski - Quintet for clarinet, horn and string trio
Septimus Kelly - Elegy for strings

Ensemble Q is Ensemble in Residence at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, and brings together some of the finest musicians in Australia and the world. Our mentorship program is second to none and gives outstanding students the opportunity to work alongside our core members and visiting artists. Ensemble Q Australia Inc is registered as a non-profit organisation under the Register of Cultural Organisations in Australia. The co-Artistic Directors are Paul Dean and Trish O'Brien.
