Come along to this year's Fringe at BASEM3NT—introducing a very full program of top quality Australian and International artists for your entertainment set over two fun filled event days.

Running from 11am to 11pm on the 15th and 22nd of Feb, we will have various artists performing throughout the day/night. Enjoy a show in our underground performance space or relax with a bevvy under the vines.

Films Under the Vines (Free):
Commencing at sunset (around 8/8.30pm) we will be showcasing Adelaide & international shorts from the 48hr film project. Enjoy an evening under the vines viewing films & sipping wines!

Clown Basics (interactive class - gold coin donation): 11:00am, 1:00pm
Clown is clown, and everyone can be funny regardless of gender. In this class we will explore the perspective of the clown, taking joy in the world around you. We will look at clown movement, the relationship between audience, clown and object and try on noses for the first time!

Agent November Escape Game: 1:00pm, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, 4:00pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm
You are the hero in this ingenious escape game! Crack the Major's riddles, beat the clock and defuse the device before it's too late! Adelaide needs you! An Agent November mystery, now bigger and better than before. You must work together as part of a crime fighting team to save the day. An agent will be on hand to help where possible, but this is your adventure. Will you succeed? 'Agent November' is a Fringe smash hit!

VR Comedy: 2:00pm, 3:15pm
"Become immersed in heritage listed buildings and friendly beer gardens while laughing with great new acts on the comedy scene. By using virtual reality technology this show brings the best venues and acts from the Bendigo Comedy Festival to Adelaide in a world first show. (No technology experience required.)"

Transhumance: 4:30pm, 7:00pm, 8:15pm
"Come dive into the absurd as we follow one clown’s surreal journey across the landscape of gender in search of a place to call home. Join NYC-based theatre artist Ania Upstill in this playful, heartfelt exploration of gender as they dare to imagine a world in-between. What does it mean to exist between two locations? To travel in between? To find your place in the middle? To embrace a joyful revolution? Come laugh at a clown’s playful exploration of what it means to be a trans human."

Smithergreens: 5:45pm
"Johnni and Janine Smithergreen (Stuart Day & Dianne Reid) are a middle-aged borther-sister singing act (not so) fresh from the sixties and seventies. They revisit a selection of groovy girl-boy duets that outdo the Osmonds, crush the Carpenters and reconcile Sonny and Cher. Delivered with their own unique mix of wholesome positivity and aging hippy sarcasm, they will blow your idea of political correctness to Smithergreens!"

Confessions from the Bell Jar: 9:30pm
In 1963, prolific poet and writer Sylvia Plath makes the decision to end her life by shoving her head in an oven. Jack Lynch wants to know: why? A new musical journey through the life and art of Sylvia Plath and a contemporary man's own struggle with depression and emotional health. So, take a seat. Let's talk. These are my Confessions from the Bell Jar.
