Gardening On the Edge: CANCELLED

Gardening on the Edge is a Garden Trail and Garden Market providing an opportunity for locals and visitors to see a number of beautiful gardens and to attend the Garden Market at the Maleny Showgrounds. There are 6 country gardens open to the public. The Garden Market has specialist plant and produce stalls, camellia flower display and homemade refreshments. Maleny is nestled high in the picturesque hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, surrounded by the natural beauty of rolling mountain ranges, sub-tropical rainforests and hilly green countryside.

The event is the main fundraiser for the Maleny Garden Club Inc. It has been held annually sine 2005 and has enabled the Club to raise in excess of $150,000 which has been donated to local community groups. Prices for tickets are listed on the website and discounts apply for group of 20 or more. Children under 16 years have free entry to the gardens. There is no entry fee to the Garden Market.

The area boasts an abundance of B&B’s, restaurants and cafes, both in town and on its outskirts. Bursting with musicians, artists and craftspeople, Maleny is famous for its thriving arts community, making it a great place to relax and take in the country life.

A very enjoyable weekend awaits all visitors on the 13 and 14 June, 2020.
