Terry “Brooklyn Terry” Wright Founder of “Speakeasy Tokyo and Member of the legendary Dance crew Elite Force, is best known as a self-taught dancer but as DJ he weaves his way seamlessly through Time periods rhythms & genres just as he does on the dance floor. Using his musical experiences from his child hood growing up in Brooklyn NYC in the Musical golden era of the 70s and 80s, going to park jams played by legends like Grand Master Flowers He brings that texture and sound out when he plays.

Well versed in Boogie, Funk, Disco, Hip Hop and Soulful house music (as well as all the sub genres of house) Terry Keeps the Room Moving. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and is the son of Charles “Charlie Brown” Wright, who was known as the best skater at famous Empire Skating Rink. His mother, Denise Wright frequented the club scene at a young age and like Terry was discovered to be a dancer with exceptional talent as his first musical expression and but at the age of 14 he began to experiment with the decks.

Terry has now gone on to Found Speakeasy TYO which is one Tokyo’s most popular parties as well as play at some of the biggest dance events in the world including Juste Debute Paris, Respect My Talent Moscow and SDK Czech and Play at some of the most Popular parties and clubs in NYC including Funk Box, Sullivan Room and Cielo just to name a few.
