Celebrating #EachForEqual this International Women’s Day.

An equal world is an enabled world. Come celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women this International Women's Day at South Eveleigh. Join South Eveleigh ambassador Kylie Kwong, OzHarvest founder Ronni Kahn (AO) and journalist Caroline Baum for a morning tea in celebration of unity, reflection, advocacy for women.

CEO & Founder of OzHarvest Ronni Kahn (AO) founded OzHarvest in 2004, driven by a passion to make a difference and stop good food going to waste. After changing the law to make it safe for companies to donate surplus food, she has grown OzHarvest to be Australia’s leading food rescue organisation and is now taking the unique food rescue model global.

South Eveleigh Ambassador Kylie Kwong, is a revered television chef, author, television presenter and restaurateur. Kylie is leading Sydney's innovation in dining through her unwavering love of food, family and connection to the broader community at-large; ethically and sustainably.

Journalist and broadcaster, Caroline was the founding editor of Good Reading Magazine, presenter of ABC TV book show Between the Lines and Foxtel’s Talking Books. Beyond her literary achievements, Caroline also curates and hosts talks, blogs for arts organisations and provides media consultancy.

Morning tea will be provided by Egg Of The Universe, Lobby Boy, Charlotte Café and OzHarvest. All ticket proceeds will be donated directly to Women's & Girls' Emergency Centre in Redfern (WAGEC), providing crisis intervention, accommodation and support services for women, children and families.
