Jake Howie is stand-up comedian from New Zealand who performs internationally at some of the world's most renowned comedy clubs, including Top Secret Comedy Club in London, The Stand Glasgow, Eastville Comedy Club in New York, the Comedy Store in Sydney and The Classic in his hometown, Auckland. This is his second solo hour, after taking his debut show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Jake is heading to his best friend's wedding to be face to face with the boy who stole his shine. You know, his Sparkle—that glow within that is often taken by dickheads named Fabiano. With a revenge body planned and a Tom Ford suit on layby, Jake takes you on a cabaret comedy extravaganza on how, despite life's hurdles, he has kept his shine alive. Jake has twinkled on through a failed attempt at becoming the next Kate Moss, a deluded vision of living Under the Tuscan Sun, and, through years of music and movies, a realisation that being "too much" for someone just means they're not enough. Come and join Jake for a show that will leave you sparkling, shining and singing with pure joy.

"Jake dominates the stage with confidence, quick wit, and has a brilliant engagement with the audience that puts everyone at ease with the adults-only content...His humour isn't the kind that's desperate for laughs. It's a natural, honest humour that makes us laugh about ourselves. Honest hilarious and raunchy, Jake Howie is the business." - Newshub
