Welcome to bring along charts, or just ask Joe to play popular jazz, blues or soul standards in your preferred key.

Jimmy Hornet is an intimate music bistro. Come for dinner, stay for the music. Wednesday nights featuring Joe McEvilly tinkling the ivories. Special guest vocalists. Delicious food by Chef Jess Barnes. Friendly table service and full bar available until late.

Genre: Cocktail/Lounge
Whether he’s playing jazz standards, bossa nova classics or piano bar favorites, Joe has the ability to make songs sparkle with his inventive solo piano interpretations. A graduate of jazz performance and composition studies at the Australian National University and Monash University, Joe is in demand as a performer, arranger, transcriber, and teacher as well as running his own ensembles Movement 9, Aurora Australis and the Joe McEvilly Sextet.
