Join Kelly Brouhaha for an intimate afternoon at Brisbane's best small venue The Junk Bar, with very special guest Daneel. Doors open 3pm.
The South Australian songwriter & multi-instrumentalist spends most of the year around a campfire in her 1992 Toyota Hiace Van called "Pamela Vanderson".
Not one for the glitz and glamour of the industry, she’s a working musician with a passion for travel, camping and a good cup of tea. Touring since 2018 with Beccy Cole and The Sisters of Twang as session musician, support act & tour manager—her first full length album landed June 2019.
Her music could be described as a soulful vocal, intertwined with impressive fingerpicking style guitar and a lyrical vulnerability that makes you feel something—but that probably doesn’t quite cover the versatility of this artist. It’s probably best you have a listen here.
She’s worked with artists such as Sara Storer, Tania Kernaghan, Lyn Bowtell, Amber Joy Poulton, Libby O'Donovan, Andrew Swift, Gretta Ziller & Bec Willis as part of the Aussie Road Crew house band—a music and camping experience throughout Outback Australia, and it seems around a campfire is where her kind of music fits best.
A jack of all trades, you cannot put her unique style into a box. From soulful country to big blues, it is real and raw and vulnerable.
