Presented by Convent Kids and Kids’ Own Publishing
Six-week digital series, Monday 15 June - Friday 24 July

Convent Kids and Kids’ Own Publishing have teamed up to bring you the first series of Kids’ Home Publishing, where you and your family and friends will be inspired make your very own books wherever you are—with your own hands! All you need is access to the internet, paper, glue and scissors—and your grand imagination!

Over six art-inspired weeks, you’ll be guided in book making by the Grand Imaginator alongside a brilliant bunch of local artists sharing their own ideas and stories about The Art of the Book to get you started on your book making journey.

When your own book is complete, you can share it online with #kidshomepublishing and #conventkids. And every Friday during the six-week program, artist Brigid May will select one newly-created book to read aloud in the virtual ‘Book Cubby’.

The art of book making celebrates creativity, collaboration and storytelling—and through Kids’ Home Publishing you’ll be able to connect and share with a global community of book makers, readers and collectors.

Suitable for ages 2 – 102.

Supported by the City of Melbourne COVID-19 Arts Grants and the City of Yarra.
