The Friends of ANZAC Cottage Inc is excited to announce the next session in its series of “Heritage Hounds” aimed at the younger set. The series, designed to bring heritage to life in an engaging way will feature Sue Carter, a qualified archaeologist, in a practical Facebook live session entitled “Excavation: What is That All About?” introducing some of the practices and intricacies of excavation, one of the many skills needed by archaeologists to carry out their work. So, everyone, from youngsters through to oldsters, is invited to visit the Friends of ANZAC Cottage Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AnzacCottage/ on Saturday, June 20 at 2pm and, with Sue’s expert help, delve a little deeper into the archaeological world.
