The purpose of the event:
- To celebrate our Patron Saint, Maroun, of the Maronite Church.
- To promote Maronite Community of SA events to the local and wider South Australian population.
- To implement our social and community initiatives and establishing future events that are open to the South Australian public.
-To come together as a community to continue social harmony and social initiatives for the benefit of the South Australian public.
- To encourage continuing future educational and beneficial events for all, hosted by our Maronite Community of SA.
Planned activities:
- The Maronite Community of SA will create Information Brochures, to which our dedicated members will distribute within the local area, as well as encouraging and informing public community members to attend our planned activities.
- The Maronite Community of SA grounds area to be opened to the public, with a Festival Environment of food stalls, amusement activities for all public members, and their families.
- Educational resource material about the Maronite Community of SA and our involvement in Australian Society will be presented in our community hall.
- Spiritual Information will be presented in the Church area, for interested public and community members about our founding faith and values.
- Our culture, sport, music and hospitality will be on display by our talented community members.
- Our food and cuisine will be available throughout the grounds for everyone to taste and enjoy.
- We will also present small seminars on the contributions and involvement of the Maronite community, past and present, within the wider Australian society.
