Something so fabulous just has to be magic…

The guests at Miss Lily’s Tropical Holiday House enjoy relaxing days and cheerful company—and no one needs it more than the lonely Last Potoroo.

When Miss Lily takes to the stage with her fabulous feather boa the timid Potoroo is filled with the feeling that she could do anything, if only the feather boa could be hers. Soon a plan is set in motion with very unexpected consequences.

Rambunctious families of koalas and wombats share the stage with the Potoroo and a dancing crocodile of incomparable glamour in this uplifting story that celebrates kindness, courage and a little marsupial pride!

At Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, our vision is to transform peoples view of the world and each other through world-class puppetry.

Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Australia’s flagship puppetry company, creates uniquely Australian works that have inter-generational appeal and are of a world-class standard since 1981. We present stories that have emotional resonance with both children and adults and that promote reflection and conversation. We are committed to touring our works to audiences across Australia, working closely with presenters to ensure that quality of audience experience is maintained wherever we tour.

“…Spare Parts has stayed faithful to making puppetry when other exponents in Australia have closed their doors. [The company] wins praise from adult viewers as well as the child audiences, always raucously appreciative, that flock to Spare Parts.” - The Australian

“…an impressive force in storytelling through puppetry.” - The Australia Times
