Moomba Festival 2020: Skate Park Events

Catch some of the country’s top skateboarders as the Riverslide Skate Park gets set to host The Australian Skateboarding League National Finals as part of Moomba 2020. Run by YMCA Action Sports this is your chance to witness these talented athletes battle it out for the top spots with the skateboarding competition officially kicking off at 2:30pm on Friday, 6 March.

Talented skaters young and old will show off their skills in this must-see competition where athletes can earn ranking points towards the 2020 Tokyo Olympics’—the first to hold skateboarding as an official Olympic sport.

Extreme sport-lovers can also cheer on their favourite scooters and BMXers for Sunday’s Pro-Scooter Competition and Monday’s Pro-BMX Jam between 1–8pm.

Skate, scooter and BMX masters will also be on hand offering free clinics, from Saturday to Monday, 11am–1pm, teaching tricks and passing on skills to rising sports stars of all ages.
