Comic Soprano Janet Hattam returns to the 2020 Adelaide Fringe Festival to premiere her new show. For sure, Mozart would've been her boyfriend! Unluckily for Mozart, he was born in the 1770s.
Join her on a journey of laughter and song as she recounts a life of operatic proportions, informed by her lived experience of Multiple Sclerosis.
With her trademark humour, punch lines are answered in song. Classical well-known songs, now corrupted with laughable lyrics, carried on in the bel canto style.
Not unlike Mozart’s unfinished Requiem, except music comedienne Janet Hattam isn’t dead…yet.
"This clever show is pulled together by the cheeky and highly likeable Janet Hattam, who works through a demanding set of difficult and sometimes reassembled songs with appealing and earthy panache." - Rip it Up Magazine
