Our 250th birthday celebrations for Ludwig van Beethoven will come to a climax with our biggest and best Beethoven concert of the year. Eminent Australian conductor Simone Young will lead the Orchestra in a special performance of arguably Beethoven’s greatest masterpiece—his majestic Choral Symphony No.9. This sweep of musical glory culminates in the famous 'Ode to Joy' melody - music guaranteed to give you goosebumps.
