The Open House: 3rd Tamworth Textile Triennial will show at the Town Hall Gallery as part of its national tour. The exhibition features a range of Australian artists whose work celebrates the open-ended, porous nature of textile practice today, with a strong Indigenous, multicultural and environmental focus.

Artists and organisations with work featured in the exhibition include Sally Blake, John Brooks, Gomeroi gaaynggal ArtsHealth Program, GhostNets Australia, Treahna Hamm, Joy Ivill, Carol McGregor, Rebecca Mayo, Noongar Doll Makers Community Arts Network, Raquel Ormella, Julia Robinson, Ema Shin, Jeanette Stock and Meredith Woolnough.

Many of the works celebrate the sense of belonging that comes from working with other artists, while others explore a wide range of subjects such as the landscape and our environment, and the role of an artist in a world beset by environmental, social and cultural upheaval.
