From 8am to 11am on Saturday 29 February, join leading Australian not-for-profit, Orange Sky and learn how you can positively connect friends in need through free laundry, warm showers and genuine conversation.

You may recognise their iconic orange vans from local communities across the country—but come Thursday 27 February, Don (a hybrid van with two huge washing machines, two dryers and a warm shower) will call the Northern Rivers his home.

Love a good chat? Orange Sky is calling on community-minded men and women to volunteer and help positively connect the 1,500+ people experiencing homelessness across the Northern Rivers. All it takes is a few hours a fortnight and non-judgemental conversation to make a huge difference.

Celebrating the region’s first free mobile laundry and shower service for people doing it tough is easy! Orange Sky is encouraging local businesses to go #OrangeForOrangeSky come Thursday 27 February. Big or small, add a splash of orange to your shopfront, clothing, product or services—and spark genuine conversation!
