Patonga Beach Easter Fete

The Easter fete is the major fundraiser for the Patonga Progress Association. Our members have been hosting the fete for many years now for the enjoyment of locals as well as the many weekenders, campers and day trippers that pour into the village for the Easter long weekend.

There will be a variety of stalls selling arts and crafts, homewares, antiques and collectibles, jewellery, children’s toys and games as well as the usual Devonshire teas, homemade cakes, jams, preserves, pickles, plants, books, bric a brac, gifts, face painting, jumping castle and more.

The spinning of the giant chocolate wheel is always a draw card, with many chances to win Easter eggs and chocolates. A giant Easter Hamper raffle will be drawn towards the end of the fete, so if you are visiting The Patonga Boathouse over the next few weeks you will have a chance to view the wonderful hampers and purchase tickets from our friendly, wandering sales people.

The BBQ will be fired up to sell mouthwatering sausage sandwiches and the local volunteers will be serving morning tea with delicious home made scones and jams. The Patonga RFS crew will be demonstrating the use of fire hoses and a chance for the kids to climb on board a fire engine.

A visit to the Patonga Fete is always a fun day out for everyone. We encourage visitors to make a day of it by coming along to the fete in the morning to enjoy the quaint village atmosphere and then heading across to the beach in the afternoon with a picnic rug to have a swim, fish or lounge in the sun and relax.
