Aspire Gallery's annual small 'Pieces Competition' is back for 2020! If the difficulty our team had in selecting Finalists was anything to go by, we are sure this has got to be the best year yet!

With a background in Industrial & Interior Design—and industry that linked the creative and commercial—the vision of Aspire Gallery's director, Donagh Mengel, was to create an award that encouraged and rewarded artists that looked at their art as a business. Open to national and international artists, entrants may submit work of all mediums (including three-dimensional works and photography) up to 50cm in height, length and width.

Whilst many art competitions focus on technique, judging for 'Petite Pieces' looks to promote other aspects of an artist's career that are just as important—from branding, to creativity/innovation, to commercial capacity.
