Portarlington Mussel Festival

One of our favourite annual events, the Mussel Festival comes to Portarlington. This year marks the 14th anniversary of the festival which is located on the beautiful foreshore. With over 10 tonne of local mussels for sale, dine in or take away. All visitors get to taste our famous local mussels in a variety of ways. Also with over 120 food and drink stalls, market stalls, great musicians playing across five stages.

This year’s incredible headliners: the magic that is Queen Forever – The Australian Queen Tribute Show will entertain the young and old. Also many roving entertainers for the kids, art shows highlighting our local talent, cooking demonstrations and local beer and wine tastings. It is always a great day out packed with fun for the whole family!

The Mussel Festival is a community event and proceeds go to support local community organizations. Parking is free and entry is $5 for adults and children are free entry. The festival is smoke free and dog free, no BYO alcohol and straw free. Please remember to bring your reusable bags and drink bottles.
