Rah! Rah! #2: CANCELLED

Following on from last year’s sold out feminist punk retrospective of Melbourne Music, Rah! Rah! returns for a sequel event in 2020, looking at where feminism and punk have intersected as an ideology, a practice and a sound over the past four decades.

This 12 hr event across two venues on Sat 9th May brings together different generations of artists, thinkers and collectors for a day time session of talks panels and intimate performances at the Melba Spiegeltent, before stepping next door for a dirty rock show at the Tote.

The mega line up features female, femme and non-binary artists from Melbourne’s punk rock scenes, along with surprise renewals and performances from artists who are vital parts of this rad community. First snippets include: Baby 8, The Vovos, Parsnip, Empat Lima, Jenny McKechnie (Cable Ties), Mill O'Sullivan (Porpoise Spit), Marita Fitzgerald (Snodra), Sylvie (Toxic Shock)
