Lucid dreaming translated into the digital realm. Debut exhibition of digital art by Jack Woodford. The human subconsciousness has never manifested itself so much as it has in our dreams. When these visions are record and translated into images, we can closer speculate upon how our minds recieve and process information. Appetise your unconscious mind by dropping into Stanmore’s Corner Gallery this July as up and coming artist Jack Woodford will be exhibiting a handful of digital works consisting of themes and visions inspired by dream journal entries and common dream motifs shared by all.
Currently studying illustration and graphic design at University of Technology Sydney, Woodford employs industry standard digital tools such as Illustrator and Photoshop to bring his cryptic and dark visions to life, bringing a modernised edge to Surrealism in the era of social media, web-based artists and pristine high definition 3D rendering.
