Relay For Life Joondalup Wanneroo

It will be cut back to a 5.5 hour picnic-style event this year, it will still have all the elements that make up our Relay. Starting with the Opening Ceremony at 2.30pm, the afternoon will be full of laps, activities (new ones you need to prepare for - so keep an eye out on our Facebook page), entertainment and tasty food options. The Survivors and Carers Afternoon Tea will also be held on ground level. The evening will bring a Candlelight Ceremony and finish with a Closing Ceremony.

Although there won’t be any designated tent sites to put up marquees this year, teams are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and/or camp chairs to enjoy the event. Whilst it is not expected, teams are more than welcome to fundraise on the day by face-painting, selling goodies or running activities. If your team would like to do this, please reach out to the Event Leadership Team via Facebook or email so they can pencil you in and make sure no other team is running the same fundraiser.
