Visit the Tipico team in the Prahran Market display kitchen, between 11:30am and 2:30pm, for a free 30-minute educational session on the art of making passata. Sessions will start promptly every thirty minutes. Tipico’s Head Chef, Daniele Colombo, will use fresh ingredients, readily available at Prahran Market to demonstrate how to prepare, mince, season and cook tomatoes in a way that would make any Italian Nonna proud. During the demonstrations there will be bowls of freshly made pasta available to purchase and eat on the spot and bottles of freshly made Italian passata to take home for $10 each.
