The Bird Conference are a quintet exploring the depths of the jazz tradition; unafraid to explore every corner the idiom has to offer. Pieces range from hard swinging numbers reminiscent of the Cannonball Adderley quintet, to free improvisation, to highly arranged pieces exploring harmony and odd time grooves. Join the group as they present hard swinging jazz, blues and vocal classics from our favourites; Nat King Cole, Ella and Sinatra, and original compositions from all members.
