Join us before you head off to Tamworth 2020 in the beautifully old and Sound protected The Stag & Hunter Hotel for a night of Magic with three of the best folk singing, truth telling, guitar strumming women in music from across the seas.

Hannah Aldridge - America

In literature and in songwriting, the American South is where writers go to face their fears. Hannah Aldridge doesn't just dip her pen into the well of the South, the Muscle Shoals native embodies it. With every song, she’s facing down demons of a life once lived from substance abuse to failed relationships and scars from the lashes of the bible belt.

"Gold Rush" is Hannah Aldridge's second album, a follow up to her 2014 debut "Razor Wire." While that album launched her career, drew the attention of music writers and sent her touring across the world, "Gold Rush" shows a more mature and introspective artist with more life experience—and music experience—under her belt.

Jenny Mitchell - New Zealand

The Recorded Music 2019 NZ Country Artist of the Year is a travel loving storyteller from the deep South of New Zealand. Influenced by Norah Jones & Gillian Welch - Jenny Mitchell is a songwriter that blends alt-country, folk, and Americana into her own captivating style.

Jenny is a past winner of the prestigious NZ Gold Guitar Awards and holds the current title for Southland Entertainer of the Year.

"The voice of a lioness, the soul of a sage." - Luka Bloom (Ireland)

Her album Wildfires proves that she is an artist who is not afraid to stand out from the crowd & create music that follows no trends or genre expectations. After months of crowdfunding & years of writing, Wildfires hit #1 on the NZ iTunes Alternative Charts & #4 on the Official NZ Music Charts within the week of it's release.

"Others use rope, Jenny uses wire." - No Depression (USA)

Natalie Henry - Australia

Natalie's singing career didn’t begin until the age of 34, when she realised her love for writing was more than just words on a page, it was her way of feeding her emotion an escape from the daily routine. In just four years Natalie has been up, down and across Australia singing and sharing her stories of love, loss and heartache to festivals and shows all over.

The Debut Solo record "Apple and Pride" produced by Michael Moko Is a powerful message, that “you can raise your babies equally as well apart.” Natalie says. This record also carries themes of wine stained heartache, fierce power and love for her little ones and the attitude that when life deals you sour a lemon, you make the lemonade anyway.

Since the release, Natalie has toured extensively around Australia, making appearances at The Gympie Music Muster and Nimbin Roots Festival. More recently Natalie has teamed up with artist Melody Moko to bring a powerful and woman driven show called 'Woman Enough.' The show is in support of Natalies new record but doubles as a movement to inspire and empower creative woman in music and spread the message that "Woman, you are enough." The tour has had some of country music’s biggest names, feature, including Lyn Bowtell and Catherine Britt.

Natalie Henry is a force and an instigator of authenticity, delivered to you through music.

Natalie Henry’s Music straddles that ragged fence between country and folky/blues! Real life stories! Combine Nat’s unique voice with Emily’s harmonies, superb guitar playing, and you have a powerful duo! Bill Chambers!
