Thunderhead (Australia)
Tina Havelock Stevens

Presented in association with Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts.

Tina Havelock Stevens offers a series of video works accompanied by improvised sound scores—sometimes recorded, sometimes performed live. Her unique practice has been influenced by her background in documentary film-making and as a drummer in the post-punk music scene. Visceral and immersive, her installations act as a channel for emotions and histories that dwell in built and natural landscapes. Her video and performance work Thunderhead channels the energy of the meteorological phenomenon of a supercell.

Opening: Saturday 8 February 6:30pm–8:30pm

This exhibition is wheelchair accessible and is classified 50% Highly Visual Content.
