Warbirds: A Weekend Of Chaos

Fresh from the release of their incredible debut album ‘Order from Chaos’, Melbourne hard rock 3-piece Warbirds head to WA to perform at Amplifier Bar in Perth on Saturday 23rd May where they will be teaming up with Hailmary and supported by Filth Wizard and Ezra Tide.

After a reshaping & re-igniting of the rock trio’s line-up and the launch of five brutal tracks on their EP ‘Control’ in early 2018, Warbirds have cranked the volume knob right the way up with the release of ‘Order from Chaos’ and Perth audiences will be able to see first-hand just why this Melbourne three-piece are sending huge shockwaves through the east coast rock scene with their powerful but clean sound.

Leading the line is vocalist & guitarist Anth Nekich, who is backed by an unbreakable rhythm section consisting of brothers Lee (drums) & Ben Strapp (bass). The band is best described as playing ‘hard rock’ while blending heavy groove based riffs with melodic rock melodies, which are primarily influenced by 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and with a dash of prog, executed with enough precision, grunt & artistic skill to mix it up with 4- & 5-piece outfits. This is all layered and intertwined with powerful high range emotive vocal melodies. Warbirds play a unique yet familiar style.
