Watercolour Fundamentals and Experimentation for Teens with Carla Hananiah
A master class in watercolours where you will gain a solid understanding of working with this beautiful and tricky medium. In this practical two-day course you will explore colour mixing, limited palettes, pigment behaviour (eg. granulation), experimental effects, mediums and masking and the importance of paper selection. We will branch out into exploring gouache/pen and ink as well.
Guided through the course content, you will create a number of paintings across various subjects and use various painting methods.
By understanding the beauty and materiality of this medium and all it has to offer you can unleash your creativity and enjoy splashing around with watercolour paint.
All materials are included, just bring along a few drawings, photos or pictures that inspire you that you may wish to reference for your paintings.
