Ways of Seeing - Creative Workshop

At this workshop with artist and curator Anne Harris, you will use natural ink and your senses to interpret the landscape in a non-literal way of seeing. Held in conjunction with the exhibition "Ways of Seeing: Gympie Messmate Park" by the Gympie Regional Gallery Tuesday Art Group.

Anne is an artist working with plants, using process based repetition to unlock the stories contained within. Looking at the landscape from a sensory perspective to understand what it means to fully embody place. She works with traditional and experimental techniques including, ink making, natural dyeing and plant fibre. Her passion is to share these tools to inspire others to use creativity as a way of being.
