#01 Progression builds a bridge between Australian and European Free Jazz and Experimental Music and showcases some of WA’s outstanding performers. We are humans holding point in space and time to create and communicate through the language of sound to give form to the formless and voice to the voiceless in dialogue and dance of intersecting rhythm and tone. Following the impulses provoked by the human experience, we explore the possibilities of being and share those moments of discovery through our performance.

From the start of this year interdisciplinary artist and director of Existence Theatre, Bello Benischauer, has initiated another stream of performative collaboration: Existemuens (Existence Theatre Music Ensemble) who showcase their first extraordinary composition and live responding dance performance as part of Fringe World 2021.
