One of the biggest annual sporting events in the Northern Territory is back in 2021 when the Tatts Finke Desert Race returns to Alice Springs.
Held on Queens Birthday Long Weekend (June 11 – June 14, 2021) the 2021 Tatts Finke Desert Race is an off-road, multi-terrain two-day race for bikes, cars, buggies and quads through desert country from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) community.
With 650 bikes & quads and 150 buggies & trophy trucks competing annually, there is little wonder why Finke Desert Race has the reputation of being one of the most difficult offroad courses in the world.
Putting the helmet on for the 2021 Tatts Finke Desert Race includes Dakar winner Toby Price swapping two wheels for four and reigning Bike champ David Walsh.
